From the Editor…”This edition of Nuntia occurs in the context of significant  events for the Congregation like the Feast of Saint Louise de Marillac; the circular letters from the Superior General for Lent and on the mass media; and, the feasts of Saint Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church, and the Annunciation, feast on which the Daughters of Charity renew their vows.

But it also is published at a time of big world events. We all witnessed the earthquake in Japan, which was not only a local catastrophe, but one on a worldwide scale. It is good to pray for the victims left by the tremor and tsunami, but we also must think about the use we make of the resources of the land, which can be of great advantage for all, as they can also lead us to destruction.
