As you recall, the award was established to acknowledge and support projects developed by an individual confrere or groups of confreres which reflect St. Vincent’s creativity in finding and implementing unique and even untried ways to respond to the urgent needs of the poor.

It has been some time already that our website has not published a report to the Vincentian Family on the activities of the Superior General. We would have to go back as far as the visit in Brazil. Then there was summer and vacation and it seems as if the activity stopped. [...]

Dear Brothers,

The following are some of the more significant matters that we dealt with in our tempo forte meeting from 1-6 October:

We are publishing a series of photos which illustrate the interview granted to Father Julio Suescun c.m. by the Superior General upon returning from his visit to two provinces of the Vincentians and four provinces of the Daughters of Charity in Brazil during the month of July.

From the 8th to 29th of July, the Superior General visited the C.M. Provinces of Fortaleza and Rio and the Daughters of Charity Provinces of Fortaleza, Amazonia, Belo Horizonte and Río. He also visited different groups of the Vincentian Family: SSVP, AIC, JMV, AMM, MISEVI and other associations with the same charism, such as Sisters [...]
