Dear Confreres and Friends,

Welcome to the Vincentian Solidarity Office (VSO)!

The VSO enjoins the celebration of the 350^th anniversary of the deaths of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Louise de Marillac with much excitement. We are excited by two new undertakings of the VSO that coincide with other efforts to spread the charism of these saints during this anniversary. The VSO is working to match a challenge grant to construct “Patrimony (endowment) Funds” for several poorer provinces of the Congregation of the Mission whose resources do not support their desire to evangelize. The Patrimony Funds Project will promote equality and solidarity within the Congregation. The VSO is also helping the Vincentian Family to raise funds for a micro-finance project in Haiti to commemorate the anniversary of the deaths of St. Vincent and Louise.  Stay tuned to share our excitement in helping to bring co-evangelization through gospel-illuminated dialogue with the poor into full flower!
