The house of “Milagrosa” of the Congregation of the mission (of the province of Saragossa, Spain) at the heart of the city of Pamplona turned to be an international community from 1 of August to 20 of September 2007. The occasion was that seven Vincentians, originally from different nationalities and provinces came together to be initiated in the Spanish language. Among them were two priests and five seminarians. Fr.Alexander from the province of Austria, Fr.James from the province of Southern India, Bros. Ian from the province of Slovakia and Ioan from Rumania for the province of Toulouse (both of them are preparing to enter in the internal seminary at Avila) François from Vietnam for the province of Toulouse and Lionel from France for the province of Toulouse and Borut the youngest of the group from the province of Slovenia.

The house provided a very comfortable stay while the University of Navarra offered us a very valuable and systematic instruction of the Spanish language with experienced professors. Our confreres in Milagrosa have been very hospitable, concerned, friendly and helpful to us. At the house they used to help us to talk the language and corrections were generously done with charity. There was a lot of fun especially during the gathering times- for lunch and supper.
The classes were in the morning hours. The university is situated some 15 minutes walk from the house. When the working days are over i.e. from Monday to Friday, Fr. Corpus CM (the Provincial) would arrange some small tours. Thus we had the chances to visit the city of Pamplona an its surroundings, Xavier- the native place of Saint François of Xavier, the monastery of Leyre, the town of San Sebastian, the Berceau of Saint Vincent de Paul, the town of Saragossa, Arantzazu, the Loyola Castle where St. Ignatius of Loyola was born and lived, Santiago de Compostela and etc.
We take this opportunity to thank all the confreres of the house Milagrosa, Fr. Mikel the Superior and especially Fr. J Corpus Delgado for their good will, cordiality and generosity. << muchas gracias hermanos en el Espìritu de San Vincente de Paùl>>
Thank you.
