It is a great joy we deliver the April issue of the NUNTIA, official monthly bulletin of news of the Congregation of the Mission from the General Curia. We want it to reach a specific audience, namely the Confreres in various corners of the world. Every month we select the most outstanding news on activities of the Superior General and General Assistants, as well as those of the Commissions who depend on the Curia, and some other information related to life of Provinces and the Vincentian Family.

The highlight of this issue is the report on the celebration of the centenary of the Province of Slovenia of the Daughters of Charity. Superior General attended this celebration. Similarly, Father Zeracristos reports on his visit to the Province of Nigeria including the progress of the construction of the new seminary of COVIAM in Enugu, Nigeria. Other stories include the report from the Vincentian Family representatives to the United Nations on the 8th Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues with the participation of representatives of various indigenous communities. Also, you can read about two of our bishops, one from India and another from Central America who recently died.

As we started it last month, we offer NUNTIA to download it in ‘lighter’ version, without photos, designed for those Confreres who have limited access to the Internet. We thank all those who are going to contribute to the propagation of this newsletter among confreres.
