English translation by Fr. Emmanuel Typamm

Dear Visitors, Vice Visitors, Regionals and other members of the CM who can spread these activities.

Dear confreres:
The grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be always with us!

I am sending you the information about the courses that the CIF (Centre International de Formation) will develop next year 2021. Once the problems caused by the Covid-19 pandemic have been overcome, we believe that the CIF Events will take place normally. I remind you that these meetings can be a good gift for those who celebrate their anniversary of vows or ordination. It can be a pleasant formative time for those who have requested a sabbatical. It is also a good opportunity to continue forming our laity in the Vincentian charism. I only ask that you send people who have a desire to be trained and do not take their stay at the CIF as a vacation in Paris.

As you know, all the meetings will take place at the Mother House of the Congregation of the Mission 95, rue de Sèvres. 75006 PARIS. FRANCE.

The course will be taught simultaneously in English, Spanish and French. In all the Encounters, classes are combined with visits to Vincentian sites (the themes and places may change from one year to the other). We also develop a life of prayer and fraternity.

The CIF team works so that those who participate in these Meetings have a memorable moment. I, now, present the CIF 2021 agenda.

  • I CIF OF VINCENTIANS BISHOPS.

Monday, July 5 to Thursday, July 15, 2021. Cost 700 euros.

  • V CIF FOR THE VINCENTIAN FAMILY.

Monday, August 2 to Thursday, August 26, 2021. Cost 1900 euros.

  • II CIF FOR BROTHERS OF THE CONGREGATION OF THE MISSION.

Friday, October 1 to Saturday, October 30, 2021. Cost 2100 euros.

  • II CIF FOR MISSIONARIES AD GENTES.

Sunday, November 7 to Saturday, November 28, 2021. Cost 900 euros.

If any Province has a real economic problem, the CIF can make some efforts to manage a number of scholarships. As the Mother House of Paris has more visitors every year, it will be important to confirm your participation as soon as possible. I will respond to your e-mails, sending you the registration with all the necessary information.

Remember that many countries need a visa to enter France. This process is usually longer than we think, so we must do it well in advance and present the documents that the French government requires of us. Without these required documents, we cannot obtain the visas. To start the process, the French government asks for the following documents: Photocopy of Passport; Date of entry and exit from France; Photocopy of travel medical insurance (not a photocopy of your social work). I repeat, if you do it with enough time, there will be no problem to get the visa. For those who do not need a visa, registration is very simple. You just have to complete the subscription we send you.

I assure you that the CIF will create beautiful memories in the participants. We are waiting for you with open arms and hearts. We know that the participants will then return to their places of origin more capable of providing comprehensive service to the poor.

Goodbye wishing you all a blessed year of the Lord 2021.

Your brother in Maria and Saint Vincent.

Fr. Dr. Andrés  MOTTO, CM
CIF Director
