Fr. Paul Liang, a 91-year old Chinese confrere formally retired from active ministry on April 18, 2021 after 51 years of priestly ministry. Parishioners from St. Joseph Parish, relatives and friends attended the Eucharistic celebration and ceremony to honor him for his dedicated service.
Fr. Paul Liang was ordained priest in 1970 under the Province of the West, USA and was assigned to different Vincentian parishes in the South of Taiwan. He served as assistant provincial and as local superior of Tainan House. He
served St. Joseph Parish for 21 years as parish priest before his retirement.
Fr. Liang, a humble confrere who looks at himself as having not done enough in his active ministry chose to stay at the house in Naningjie as long as he still can.
