On Saturday 27 September 2008, the entire Vincentian Family of Libanon came together around the Visitor Father Antoine NAKAD and the confreres of Libanon to celebrate the solemnity of our Founder Saint Vincent de Paul and inaugurate the festivities of the 225 th anniversary of the beginning of the Vincentians Fathers in the Orient.

The magazine Mundo Negro of the Comboni Fathers will give, next Saturday, 23 February, the “Mundo Negro a la Fraternidad 2007” award to the Argentine missionary Pedro Opeka, a Vincentian Father, according to IVICOM news service.
Following the established program, Saturday was designated as a retreat day. Daniel Vasquez, the Visitor of Colombia, led the reflections. As usual, morning prayer was done in language groups.
