Last Monday, January 25, the congregation of the mission was celebrating the anniversary of its foundation in 1625 by st Vincent De Paul. This was also a day for us in France because was officially built the new province of France and installed our new visitor, his assistant and his council. It was for us a beautiful day where more than 80 colleagues found themselves full of joy and brotherhood. It’s a pity that it did not last longer. Long live the new province.
Hier lundi 25 janvier la Congrégation de la Mission célébrait l’anniversaire de sa fondation en 1625 par St Vincent de Paul. Ce fut aussi un jour tout particulier pour nous en France car fut officiellement érigée la nouvelle Province de France et installé notre nouveau Visiteur, son Assistant et son Conseil. Ce fut pour nous une bien belle journée où plus de 80 confrères se retrouvèrent plein de joie et de fraternité. Dommage que cela ne dura pas plus longtemps. Longue vie à la nouvelle Province.
