Fr. Joachin U. Nwaorgu, CM Provincial Secretary writes..
While we mourn the death of the other six brothers, we still remain thankful to God that the injured are doing well. So far six of them have been discharged from the hospital while the other five yet to be discharged are responding well to treatment and are in good conditions.
Father, there was some conflicting figures about the injured at first. The total number of people that were injured is 11 and not 10 as earlier reported. Also I would like to correct an error in the name of one of the deceased brothers. I had earlier given one of the names as: JOACHIM EHIRMEYOMA. Please the second name (sur name) which was wrongly spelt as EHIRMEYOMA is spelt ERHIMEYOMA. Hence the names of the six deceased brothers are:
- CHUKWUEMEKA OSISIURI,CM
- JOACHIM ERHIMEYOMA,CM
- EMMANUEL AGBO,CM
- EMMANUEL ADAH,CM
- MICHAEL NWAFOR,CM
- EMMANUEL OKOLI,CM
I sincerely sympathise with my applied order over their lost. I pray God to console you and the deceased families. He (God) is unquestionable and we will serve Him in all states. Quiet painful but what do we have to do more of to pray for their souls to rest in the bosom of the Almighty God? Rest in peace brothers.
