From October 7th to the 10th the XIX Meeting of Vincentian Educators was held in San Antonio de Arredondo, Córdoba (Argentina).

226 educators from 20 schools administered by the Daughters of Charity, the Congregation of the Mission and the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, gathered together from the different provinces of Argentina and shared their educational experiences … a sharing that was engaged in from the perspective of the Vincentian charism.

Among the presenters we mention here Father Alberto Bustamante, a diocesan priest, who developed the theme “The mercy and the joy of the gospel in the educational endeavor”; Sister Maria Isabel Ruiz, HC, Visitatrix of the Province of Our Lady of the Mission of South America, who spoke about “The Vincentian charisma in the service that is offered by the Daughters of Charity” and finally, Fr. Hugo Ricardo Sosa, CM, who presented the theme “The educational mission in light of the 400 years of creative fidelity to the Vincentian charism”.

The various delegations took responsibility for leading us in prayer and reflection and recreation.

At the conclusion of the meeting,  the educators departed for their respective provinces after renewing their vocation of service and mission.
