The Congregation of the Mission Philippine Province is blessed to have new members to the “little company” of St. Vincent de Paul.

Last July 13, 2018 Sem. Romeo Auditor, CM and Sem. Arnel Pelonia, CM made their pronouncement of missionary vows which brings with it incorporation – a definitive members of the community into the Congregation of the Mission.

Romeo is 33 years old and hails from Talibon, Bohol, Philippines. He finished his philosophy degree as a seminarian of the Canossian Sons of Charity. In 2010, he joined the Orientation Year at St. Vincent Seminary and was admitted into the Internal Seminary in 2013.

Arnel is 37 years old and comes from Cabatuan, Iloilo. As a seminarian of the Archdiocese of Jaro, he finished his theological studies at St. Vincent School of Theology in 2014. It was then that he expressed his desire to become a Vincentian priest. He was admitted into the Internal Seminary in 2016.

The Provincial and his Council unanimously approved the applications of Romeo and Arnel for the ordination to the diaconate. They will be ordained deacon this coming September 8, 2018 at the Santuario de San Vicente de Paul Parish.

This momentous event took place during the culmination mass of the Provincial Convocation headed by the Provincial Visitor of the Philippine province, Fr. Gregorio Bañaga, CM.
