“God keeps calling,” Father Opeka, missionary of the Congregation of the Mission, firmly points out. One day he felt the call to leave everything to follow Jesus Christ Evangelizer of the Poor in the Vincentian Mission in Madagascar.

Father Opeka reminds us in his testimony that “the vocation of the missionary from the Congregation of the Mission essentially contains such a mystique which if it is well lived and brought to maturity it enters into the need (sensitivity) to live in such a way which reflects the deep joy and gratitude of one who is perceived as being called by pure mercy (praxis), and is automatically capable of becoming a caller for others.” (Rolando Gutiérrez, C.M., The power of Vincentian call, https://bit.ly/2N1ODVz)
