In the article on the Vincentian response to the consecrated life, Fr. Rolando Gutiérrez, C.M. emphasizes “in the tradition of the Congregation of the Mission we find outstanding testimonies of answers to God.”
Fr. Rolando continues saying “one responds to a call from other, and from the Transcendent Other who identifies with the face of suffering other.” Therefore, we offer a video of Father Kit Torayno CM, who works in the Province of Philippines among the indigenous peoples. This is his missionary response to the call of God: in the faces of the indigenous people, Fr. Kit has found the face of Our Lord! We hope that his testimony will inspire the hearts of many young people ready to help others.
