In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic that humanity is experiencing, May brought with it many events in the Church and in the Congregation. In this issue of NUNTIA, we want to share with our readers these moments though the contribution of some confreres who have sent us their reflections. For the Fifth Anniversary of the Encyclical, Laudato Si’, that Pope Francis proposed to us, a full week was dedicated to reflection, but above all, to commitment to our Common Home. From this event, we share two articles, a new project of the General Curia, supporting urban beekeeping, and a call for attention in the use of plastic at this crucial moment in relation to creation. How many of our actions are responsible for the current contamination of the planet?Another important moment was World Communications Day, which invites us to consider communication as a way to tell stories, thus building community. The traditional Day of Prayer for Vocations was held in the midst of the pandemic, because God continues to call in all circumstances. Lastly, there is good news for the Congregation. Our confrere-bishop has been appointed Archbishop of the recently merged Archdiocese of Anchorage and the Diocese of Juneau in Alaska.
