At the beginning of June, the documentary “Opeka” was announced in various media on occasion of the Brooklyn Film Festival where it was submitted and presented. The film by Cam Cowan, also known of his previous production “Madagasikara”, tells the inspiring story of our confrere Father Pedro Opeka, CM, a missionary in Madagascar. It will be screened at various film festivals during 2020 and 2021.

Our Communications Office contacted Mr. Cam Cowan to ask him few questions to learn more about the documentary. and its background. The entire interview highlighting the director’s passion for human rights and the fight against injustice, was first published on our web page.
