We are delivering the October issue of the NUNTIA, in the midst of COVID 19, when despite the signs of death, there are signs of hope. Pope Francis’ Encyclical, “Fratelli tutti” helps us to shed light on this historical moment and invites us to build a society on more solidarity. A confrere shows us the context in which this document is given. There are also many negative consequences which this pandemic leaves behind, above all how it affects the poor, such as the situation in the south of Madagascar. Another document we recommend is “Dear Amazon”, inviting us to commit ourselves not only to one area of the planet but to all the creation. And as a prelude to the month of November when we are celebrating the 4th World Day of the Poor, we would like to share an article by Girolamo Gramatico, the layman who works in the communications office on his experience of the work he has done with the street people a few years ago.
