On 29th April 2021, two of our brothers, namely Br Tibin Mathew, and Br Satyam Bawane pronounced vows and were incorporated into the Congregation of the Mission by Rev Fr Anil Thomas Karackavayalil CM, the visitor of the Southern Indian Province. During the Holy Eucharistic Celebration officiated by the visitor the brothers expressed their desire to lead a vowed life and be part of the Congregation and they were incorporated in the presence of confreres from different communities in Mysore. The liturgical celebration was well organized in the Karunalaya Community. Our confreres from Mysore, seminarians and DC sisters from Belwadi were present to witness and pray for the brothers who were incorporated. The Liturgical celebrations began at 7.00 am with a procession and De Paul Minor Seminary Choir with their angelic voice made the atmosphere more enchanting and divine. Due to Covid-19 protocol the parents, friends and well-wishers of our brothers couldn’t be present for the celebrations. During the homily Fr Baiju Chittooparamban stressed that we can become the Good News and our life and ministry can be another gospel if we live and minister in the power and influence of the Holy Spirit, knowing and following the charism, and living our vows faithfully. After the Holy Eucharistic Celebration, Br Satyam proposed vote of thanks to the whole congregation after which the newly incorporated members were felicitated in the community refectory.
