19 members of the Vincentian Family participated at the UN-DPI Conference in Korea: Daughters of Charity from the UN (New York and Geneva), Korea and the Philippines, Sister of Charity from the UN, Korea and India, and Vincentians from the UN, Adamson University (Manila) and DePaul University (Chicago). The theme of the conference was EDUCATION FOR GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP Achieving the SDGs (sustainable development goals) Together.
In our way to to the UN Conference in Gyeongju – KOREA, the representatives of the Vincentian Family at the UN stopped for a couple of days in Seoul for a training orientation to the Vincentian Family of this beautiful country . The theme of this workshop was the Sustainable Development Goals – The Vincentian Family at the UN (New York and Geneva ) and Laudato Si. In the two training sessions 80 people participated.
This year’s UN DPI theme is a great opportunity for us, Vincentians, to think globally of The Vincentian Model of Education for Global Citizenship, in all the levels of education in which we are involved, and our contribution to the achievement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (UN Agenda 2030).
