This year’s celebrations of Holy week are happening in a context that we did not imagine.
Holy week is evolving in the midst of the pandemic of COVID-19 that in one way or another is touching the lives of all humanity around the globe.
Jesus’s passion and death has been repeated over and over again in all the corners of the world.
But as the suffering and death is so visible, so also is the Resurrection!
There are resurrections happening here and now on earth in the hearts, minds and bodies of so many people, leading up to the final and lasting Resurrection: Eternal life.
There is goodness, Charity emerging more and more clearly, at an incredible pace in all directions of the globe as the days go by: eagerness to help the persons in need wherever they may be: spiritually, physically, emotionally, and materially.
Jesus has been resurrected in so many hearts, minds and bodies of people.
As members of the Vincentian Family in a widest sends of the world, we are invited to keep spreading Charity to the farthest corners of the earth, and we cannot end the mission until Charity is globalized.
Let’s keep helping each other to always engender new resurrections in the hearts, minds and bodies of the people here and now, to reach one day the final and lasting Resurrection: Eternal life!
Alleluia! Praise the Lord!
